Psychotherapy/ Psychological Counseling in English
Psychotherapy is the process in which people, helped and guided by a professional, learn how to improve certain aspects of their life. I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), an empirically supported treatment for mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders (panic attacks, social anxiety, specific phobias, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder), eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia), substance dependence and abuse. The principles of CBT are also used in personal growth and optimization (improving abilities, problem solving, communication skills, stress management, health education and improving life style).
